Cardinal Spellman High School President and Principal Daniel O’Keefe ran 103.3 miles through Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn and the Bronx June 17 and 18 to raise money for the Bronx school’s financial aid program.
The photos show O’Keefe at Spellman, where he took a lap around the track with the backing of the school’s cheerleading teams June 17.
O’Keefe completed his Achieve 100 Hit the Streets course, which ended in Times Square, in 27 hours, 15 minutes.
His initial run, called Achieve 100, a 100-mile run in 24 hours around the school’s track, raised more than $140,000 for the school’s sports and activities programs in 2014.
Donations are still being accepted for his 2017 run at www.cardinalspellman.org/achieve100.
