21 New Leaders at Elementary, High Schools

New principals have been named at 13 elementary schools in the archdiocese; one high school has a new president and seven high schools have new principals for the 2014-2015 school year.

The 13 new elementary school principals are: Ulster/Sullivan/Orange: Sacred Heart School, Newburgh, Catrina Rocco; St. Stephen-St. Edward School, Bethany Negersmith, and Most Precious Blood, Patricia Walsh. Dutchess: Regina Coeli School, Linda Power.
Manhattan: Corpus Christi, Christian Mariano, and St. Ann School, Hope Mueller.
Northwest/South Bronx: St. Angela Merici School, Frances Acosta.
Staten Island: Blessed Sacrament School, Joseph Cocozello; St. Rita School, Nicole Fresca, and Academy of St. Dorothy, Sister Lisa Palazio, S.S.D.
North Westchester/Putnam: St. Patrick School, Bedford, Sharon O’Leary.
Central Westchester: SS. John and Paul School, Fatima Gianni, and Sacred Heart School, Dr. Judith Johnston.

The changes in leadership at eight high schools are:

The new president is Dr. Catherine Guerriero of La Salle Academy in Manhattan.

The seven new principals are:

Northwest/South Bronx: Academy of Mt. St. Ursula, Sister Jeannie Humphries, O.S.U.
Northeast/East Bronx: Monsignor Scanlan High School, Peter Doran.
Manhattan: Loyola High School, Dr. Kristin Ross.
Central Westchester: Iona Preparatory High School, Edward O’Neill; Maria Regina High School, Valerie Reidy, and The Ursuline School, Carol Killebrew.
Dutchess: Our Lady of Lourdes High School, Catherine Merryman.
