To the Editor:
You stated in your story that Police Officer Pantaleo used a nightstick to place a chokehold on Eric Garner who was resisting arrest. Pantaleo never had a nightstick when he took down Garner. You need to put a retraction in about this as he was using a takedown maneuver taught by the Police Academy.
