To the Editor:
Thank you for your recent obituary on Father Benedict Groeschel, C.F.R. (CNY, Oct. 16) I had the privilege of attending his days of recollection in Manhattan for more than 10 years. He was truly a saintly and brilliant priest. Heroic virtue was very evident in his life. Throughout the years, he taught thousands, if not millions, through his books, tapes and media. Many pray that he will one day be canonized.
