Sixteen men were ordained to the transitional diaconate by Bishop William J. Murphy of Rockville Centre at a Mass on Nov. 7 in the chapel at St. Joseph’s Seminary, Dunwoodie, where they are in their fourth year of study in preparation for the priesthood.
