In my opinion the Holy Father is uninformed concerning climate change. The climate will change regardless of what we do to alter the process; however, it is on a geological time scale measured in thousands and millions of years, a number that we cannot comprehend given our 100-year or less lifespan. As the well-known prayer goes, let’s change what we can change, accept what we cannot and have the wisdom to know the difference.
