So why does Planned Parenthood receive half a billion dollars of our hard-earned tax money each year? Why is it a so-called indispensable provider of women’s health services in the United States? None of it could be further from the truth.
Let me explain. Planned Parenthood serves 2.7 million patients annually, and community health centers serve more than 21 million. Planned Parenthood offers pap tests for cervical cancer screenings to about 378,692 women each year. Again, community health centers far surpass this number with 1,781,256 women served. What about mammograms from Planned Parenthood? Zero. Community health centers had 424,376 mammograms.
The only service that community health centers do not serve is abortion. We know Planned Parenthood offers abortion, about 327,653 of them. I’ll go even further. Planned Parenthood, with its killing of unborn children, coupled with its selling of body parts, is barbaric. We don’t need Planned Parenthood.
