Parishes in the archdiocese will join others across the nation in praying for the sanctity of all human life during the National Night of Prayer for Life Dec. 8-9.
The Monday to Tuesday prayer service typically consists of four hours of Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament, the Rosary and other vocal prayer, silent meditation and Benediction.
The prayers seek an end to abortion and all offenses against the dignity of the human person, to make reparation for such sins and to heal those who are suffering. The effort is intended to help build the culture of life and a civilization of love in America.
