Dr. Anna Ramirez-Adam will return to St. Elizabeth’s School in Washington Heights, where she will begin as principal on Sept. 1, the Archdiocesan Department of Education has announced.

Dr. Ramirez-Adam taught at the elementary school from 1975 through 1982. She is now the principal of St. Catherine Catholic School in Sebring, Fla. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education from the City College of New York and a doctorate in education from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

“We are delighted to welcome Anna back to St. Elizabeth School as principal,” said Dr. Timothy McNiff, superintendent of schools. “Her depth of experience as a Catholic school principal and her experience as a former teacher at St. Elizabeth makes her a wonderful fit for the school community.”
