To the Editor:
Re: “U.N. Report Overreaches” (CNY, Feb. 20), it should be recognized that their undeclared rationale is that birthrates must be reduced “to save Planet Earth.” From climate change and pollution, thus they oppose Catholic pro-birth policies.
The sum total of these policies shared by many governments and peoples is an aging world population with whole nations gradually eliminating themselves by attrition, as in Russia, Europe and the United States.
