Bishop Walsh to Offer Red Mass in the Bronx

Auxiliary Bishop Gerald Walsh, vicar for clergy, will be principal celebrant of the annual Red Mass sponsored by the Bronx Catholic Guild on Monday, Oct. 1, at St. Angela Merici Church, 917 Morris Ave., the Bronx, at 5:30 p.m.

Father Nestorio Agirembabazi, A.J., the pastor, will concelebrate; Deacon James Bello will assist.

The Red Mass, for those in the legal and law enforcement professions, invokes the guidance of the Holy Spirit on their endeavors.
