Carmen Lamberty, who was the widow of Deacon Angel Lamberty, died Aug. 2 at Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 81.
Her husband ministered at St. Mary and St. Andrew parish, Ellenville, from 1998 until his death in 2004. During that time he also served as a chaplain at Eastern New York Correctional Facility.
Mrs. Lamberty is survived by her daughters, Isabel Lamberty, Maria Arango, Carmen Oquendo and Annajane Rodriguez. Her son Angel Lamberty Jr., 55, died in July.
A Funeral Mass was offered Aug. 5 at St. Mary and St. Andrew Church. Burial was at Fantinekill Cemetery, Ellenville.
