Volunteers unload 10,000 pounds of food and produce donated by Goya Foods to Catholic Charities at the Washington Heights Ecumenical Food Pantry in Manhattan Aug. 9. Goya Foods made the donation in recognition of the annual Dominican Day Parade in New York City as part of its Goya Gives campaign. (The parade marched up Sixth Avenue Aug. 13.) Some of the food was transferred to the Rusty Staub Foundation/Catholic Charities truck for distribution elsewhere. From left are Rafael Toro, director of public relations for Goya Foods, holding the box of food; Maria M. Khury, board chair of Dominican Day Parade Inc., and Msgr. Kevin Sullivan, executive director of Catholic Charities.
