I am currently an inmate at Wallkill Correctional Facility. As a Catholic, I attend Mass at the prison every weekend and enjoy Father Francis Naccarato’s services. Father Naccarato was discussed in your Aug. 1 edition. He is moving on from the prison to a high school assignment.
I am writing because I was wondering if you could print a special goodbye from us inmates to Father Naccarato. He’s been here for more than eight years. He will be missed by everyone. He has to be the coolest priest ever. To be honest with you, it’s going to be difficult to attend Mass when he leaves.
It’s a big deal that he’s leaving. He’s truly one of the great ones.
