Herschlein, Mangan Recognized at St. Thomas More Luncheon

James D. Herschlein, partner at Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP, was honored by Cardinal Dolan at the 30th annual St. Thomas More Award Luncheon. The Nov. 6 gathering was attended by more than 500 guests and raised $600,000.

James Mangan, managing director and head of U.S. litigation at Morgan Stanley, was presented the John P. Cooney Jr. Award for Mentorship Involvement.

The Lawyers Committee of the Inner-City Scholarship Fund hosted the luncheon, which was held at Cipriani 42nd Street in Manhattan. Fox 5 news anchor Dari Alexander served as emcee.

The Inner-City Scholarship Fund, founded in 1971 by the Cardinal Terence Cooke, offers children tuition assistance to attend inner-city Catholic schools in the archdiocese.
