Reading last issue’s Letters to the Editor, all were disappointed, saddened, dismayed and disgusted with our governor and the New York State Senate and Assembly for passing the Reproductive Health Act.
My question is, “Why do Catholics who go to church regularly and obey God’s commandments vote Democratic on Election Day?” Governor Cuomo would not be in office today if every Catholic voted for the other candidate. Some day, we will all stand before God, and what will your excuse be for helping elect someone who takes great pleasure in giving women the opportunity to kill their babies and believes in same-sex marriage?
The next time you vote, think long and hard before you pull the lever.
