The Martin Luther King Jr., DAy annual Interfaith Peace Walk took place Jan. 18. The event’s theme,“Hear the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor,” was from Pope Francis’ encyclical “Laudato Si.” Organizers sought to draw attention to peace and justice issues such as climate change, poverty and income inequality.
