In the meeting to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Nostra Aetate (CNY, Nov. 12) in which Christians and Jews gather in friendship, I wonder if the Jewish members are ever made aware that the salvation obtained for the world by the merits of the Lord Jesus in his most sorrowful passion was brought into the world through the Jewish race and that the Gospel message is not meant for Christians but for Jews and all people.
