Msgr. Kevin Sullivan, executive director of archdiocesan Catholic Charities, will lead the opening prayer for the 37th annual Way of the Cross/Way of Peace across Manhattan on Good Friday, April 19.
The event, organized by Pax Christi Metro New York, will start at 8:30 a.m. across from Holy Family Church at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza on East 47th Street in Manhattan. It will proceed on 42nd Street until it concludes at Holy Cross Church, located across from Port Authority Terminal. Participants will stop at 15 contemporary Stations of the Cross.
