Graduates of the class of 2017 at St. Joseph’s Seminary in Dunwoodie reflect on the work behind them and anticipate the ministry ahead as they await their ordination to the priesthood. Cardinal Dolan will ordain 11 men at a Mass in St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Saturday, May 27, at 9 a.m. Five of the men will serve as priests of the Archdiocese of New York and six are Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. The ordination class includes Father Diego Hernández, who for the past year has served as a transitional deacon at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Manhattan, and Father Reynor Santiago, who has studied at the Pontifical North American College in Rome.
