The International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima is nearing the end of a month-long visit to parishes and other Catholic institutions in the archdiocese.

Recent visits in the mid-Hudson Valley included St. Columba, Hopewell Junction; Holy Trinity, Poughkeepsie; and St. George-St. Francis, Jeffersonville.

“We are very privileged to have the Fatima statue visit our church,” Father Ignatius Vu, pastor of St. George-St. Francis parish, said of the statue’s visit to St. George.

The tour ends Friday, Nov. 22, at Holy Innocents Church in Manhattan, where Father James Miara, the pastor, is spiritual director of the Archdiocesan Division of the World Apostolate of Fatima.
