Respect Life Office Shares How To Pray Outside Abortion Sites

Posted

The archdiocesan Respect Life Office is conducting conferences in Manhattan, the Bronx and on Staten Island to educate pro-life advocates on how and why to pray publicly outside abortion facilities.
Witness Formation Days are geared to those who have thought about participating in praying for the unborn publicly, but are fearful or unsure of how to do so.
Speakers include Sister Virginia Joy, S.V., director of the archdiocesan Respect Life Office, and Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. Testimonies will also be shared by men and women who regularly pray or provide sidewalk counseling outside abortion clinics.
The day begins with Mass in the church at 9 a.m., followed by registration at 9:30 a.m. The conferences, held in the parish hall, conclude at 2:30 p.m.
The schedule is as follows:
