Shroud in Yonkers
Maria R. Bastone
Father Louis-Marie Navaratne, O.S.B., a Benedictine monk from Holy Face Monastery in Clifton, N.J., who wrote a book about the shroud, speaks in front of a facsimile of the shroud at St. Anthony’s.

St. Anthony’s parish in Yonkers hosted a presentation about the Shroud of Turin March 10. While the Church has never officially ruled on the original shroud’s authenticity, it bears the image of a crucified man with wounds similar to those of Christ.
