Sister Ann Bernadette McGoldrick, O.P., who taught at Dominican College in Orangeburg for more than a quarter of a century, died Aug. 30 in St. Martin de Porres Infirmary in Blauvelt. She was 93.

She served at Dominican College from 1971 to 1997.

She taught at St. Nicholas of Tolentine High School, 1958-1971, and St. Nicholas of Tolentine Elementary School, 1941-1948, both the Bronx; St. Peter’s, Liberty, 1956-1958; and St. Anselm’s, the Bronx, 1948-1956.

She was historian of her congregation, the Dominican Sisters of Blauvelt, 1999-2004.

Born in New York City, she entered the Blauvelt Dominicans in 1937 and professed final vows in 1942. She held a bachelor’s degree in education from Manhattan College and a master’s in French from Fordham University.

Her sister, Sister Rose Veronica, O.P., predeceased her.

A Funeral Mass was offered Sept. 4 at St. Dominic’s Convent, Blauvelt, with burial in the sisters’ cemetery.
