The Xavier Society for the Blind will hold its annual St. Lucy Mass in the Lady Chapel at St. Patrick’s Cathedral Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 10 a.m.
Father Jamie Dennis, a blind priest from the Diocese of Owensboro, Ky., returns as celebrant for Mass on the feast of St. Lucy, who is the patron saint of the blind.
Xavier Society for the Blind has served the blind since 1900 by producing spiritual and religious books in Braille as well as textbooks in Braille for religious education courses.
