Bishop Massa to Preach Seven Last Words on Good Friday

Auxiliary Bishop James Massa of Brooklyn will preach the Seven Last Words on Good Friday, April 2, at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. The three-hour meditation on Christ’s last words on the cross will begin at noon.

 Bishop Massa is in his first year as rector of St. Joseph’s Seminary in Dunwoodie, where he served on the faculty, 2012-2015.

Also at St. Patrick’s on Good Friday, Cardinal Dolan will lead the Solemn Liturgy of Our Lord’s Passion and Death, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
