Cardinal Dolan hosted the annual St. Nicholas Project Volunteer Shopping Day in Manhattan along with archdiocesan Catholic Charities. Held Dec. 11 in Our Saviour Church on Park Avenue, the event was a boutique of winter clothes and other goods for 100 families in need in the New York area; volunteers shopped on their behalf. Msgr. Kevin Sullivan, executive director of Catholic Charities and administrator of Our Saviour, offered an opening prayer and welcomed volunteers. The cardinal conferred a Christmas blessing and delivered remarks.
