Faith First

Posted

I have often sat through eulogies after Funeral Masses where the deceased is described as a nice person, a successful individual, a great friend, a fun and humorous person, blah, blah, blah. Many times, there is no reference to the deceased’s Catholic faith.

Thanks to Cardinal Dolan (CNY, Nov. 8) for reminding us about the “ground rules for eulogies,” and how, when and where they are appropriate.
