The front page of Catholic New York’s Aug. 12 issue, with the six Sisters of Life who had just professed their final vows at St. Patrick’s Cathedral was simply beautiful. Thank you.
As a young woman, I worked in Manhattan and attended the noontime Mass at the cathedral. Catholic New York, once again, gave me the opportunity to see the beautiful altar at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, as well as the beautiful smiling faces of the Sisters of Life, whose mission is to protect human life in all its stages, and to help us all to do the same. I am now a senior, one who is evermore grateful to our loving God for the precious gift of life.
Mary, Mother of Jesus, and Mother of the Catholic Church, pray for us.
Jesus, Bread of Life, I place my trust in you.
