PILGRIMS OF NEW YORK—Catholics carried crosses and prayed the Rosary, proudly showing their faith from one end of Manhattan to the other during the fourth annual Pilgrimage of New York March 23. At right, they make their way near the Radio City Music Hall. The 360 pilgrims also stopped at churches all across the borough, including Our Lady of Esperanza, below; Notre Dame, Our Lady of Good Counsel, St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Our Lady of Guadalupe at St. Bernard’s. The opening prayers were said at the Shrine of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini in Washington Heights and a closing Mass was offered at the Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton at the tip of lower Manhattan.
