Sister Catherine Kinsella. O.P., who served in upstate Fulton for five years, died March 3 in Siena Hall of Dominican Convent, Sparkill. She was 89.
Sister Catherine was at St. Mary School, Fulton, 1953-1958. She also served in Missouri and Montana before retiring in 2014.
Born in St. Louis, she entered the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill in 1951 and professed final vows in 1958.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Webster University, Webster Groves, Mo., and a master’s in religious education from the University of St. Thomas, Houston.
Funeral arrangements were private. Burial was in St. Agnes Cemetery, Sparkill.
