Sister M. Priscilla Koblarchik, I.H.M.

Sister M. Priscilla Koblarchik, I.H.M., who taught for 17 years at Holy Trinity School in Poughkeepsie, died March 23 at Our Lady of Peace Residence in Scranton, Pa. She was 98.

Sister Priscilla taught at Holy Trinity from 1984 to 2001.

She also taught at schools in Port Washington and Oneida, and in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

Born in Clarence, Pa., she entered the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1940 and professed final vows in 1946.

She received a bachelor’s degree in English/history from Marywood College in Scranton.

Burial was at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pa. Due to restrictions related to the coronavirus, the Funeral Mass and graveside service were private.
