Sister Winifred Marie O'Halloran, O.P.

Sister Winifred Marie O'Halloran, O.P., who served as educational systems coordinator in the data center at the archdiocese for 28 years, died March 16 in Siena Hall in Sparkill. She was 92.

She was educational systems coordinator, 1974-2002. She served as an educator at Aquinas High School, the Bronx, 1970-1974; St. Helena Commercial High School, the Bronx, 1958-1970; Sacred Heart School, Suffern, 1956-1958; and St. Rose of Lima School, Manhattan, 1951-1956. She served in community services in Dominican Convent, Sparkill, 2002-2012.

Born in New York City, she entered the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill in 1949 and professed final vows in 1956.

She received a bachelor's degree in education from Fordham University, the Bronx, and a master's in business from the College of St. Rose, Albany.

Her brother, Michael, survives her.

Private services were offered in Dominican Convent. Burial was in St. Agnes Cemetery, Sparkill.
