CYO New York basketball began its shortened indoor winter season Feb. 5 with contests throughout the archdiocese.

The 2021-2022 season, which had a delayed start due to the Covid-19 pandemic, will be completed by April 9 with county championships, if CYO officials choose to have a county tournament. An archdiocesan championship tournament will not be held this year.

The CYO indoor basketball games played Feb. 5 were the first since the pandemic ended the 2019-2020 season during the archdiocesan playoffs. It also forced the cancellation of the 2020-2021 indoor winter basketball season.
