The archdiocese’s Respect Life Office will hold its 2022 Feminine Genius Brunch at the Sonesta, 66 Hale Ave., White Plains, Saturday, Nov. 12, at 10 a.m.
The brunch’s theme is “Come discover God’s plan for your ultimate flourishing.” Sister Virginia Joy, S.V., director of the Respect Life Office, will share a new reflection on the feminine heart, and will be one of the Sisters of Life participating in the program.
In 2019, the Respect Life Office held its third Feminine Genius Brunch in which 350 women from 130 parishes participated at the Hilton Westchester in Rye Brook.
“No matter where you are in life’s journey, God’s plan is unique and personal,” Sister Virginia told CNY. “His call for each one of us is this personal, profound, lasting call, and I think that’s appealing. We want to know we’re wanted and desired. The human heart desires to find its place. So I think coming today, there is a hope of answering the deepest questions in the human heart—who am I, why am I and what is the plan for my life.”
