Cardinal Anthony Poola celebrated a Mass of thanksgiving Oct. 8 at St. Ann’s Church in Nyack, which was attended by Indian Catholics from several states. Cardinal Poola was appointed Archbishop of Hyderabad in India in 2020 and was elevated to cardinal by Pope Francis in August. While in New York, Cardinal Poola also met with Cardinal Dolan and Archbishop Gabriele Caccia, permanent observer of the Holy See to the United Nations.
