‘Wonderful Memories’

Posted

I was very pleased and proud to read your article about St. Stanislaus School and Church (CNY, May 19).

That was my parish. I lived on East Sixth Street with my grandparents who came from Poland. I went to school there until we moved to Ohio in 1951. I was taught by the Felician Sisters. If I remember correctly, my first grade teacher was Sister Bertha, but that was many years ago.

What wonderful memories. I’m glad to see it is still a vibrant and giving parish.

May St. Stanislaus continue to be their inspiration and may God continue to bless this wonderful parish.
